The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the American company Tetra Tech will jointly conduct training for Ukrainian operators of mechanized demining equipment. The training, supported by Tetra Tech, will take place at the Ukrainian Training and Testing Complex (UTTC) for the development of advanced technologies in mine action, civil protection, and environmental safety.
This agreement was reached during a meeting between representatives of the Ministry and Tetra Tech.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening the practical aspects of training instructors, operators of mechanized demining systems, and UAV specialists who are involved in detecting explosive objects.
“This agreement with Tetra Tech is another step toward building a systematic, technological, and resilient training model for specialists capable of operating effectively under modern threats,” said Colonel Olha Drobot, representative of the Main Department for Mine Action, Civil Protection, and Environmental Safety.
Tetra Tech is a leading company in the fields of environmental protection, water management, and sustainable infrastructure development, providing consulting and engineering services.
In Ukraine, Tetra Tech is actively involved in humanitarian demining projects.
