Russian President Vladimir Putin's strategy to seize Ukraine was a failure, mainly due to his inadequate assessment of the situation. This opinion was expressed by the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, in an interview with Natalia Moseichuk for the TV channel "1+1".

"Played, sneaked in, exposed. This is the bunker's oldman. He really lives in his sick world, and 2 options will befall him: either the dock in The Hague or an inglorious death somewhere in a bunker in Altai," said Vasyl Malyuk.

He emphasized that today the Security Service has already formed a unique treasure trove of evidence of Russian crimes in this war for future international criminal courts. Currently, there is a single, so-called mother criminal proceeding in which the special service, together with the Prosecutor General's Office, accumulates all available materials.

At the same time, Vasyl Malyuk added that Putin is a classic special service agent who infiltrated our country as an agent for 20 years. Therefore, the task of the SSU is to establish all agent networks and neutralize them. After all, among other things, they are also engaged in planning and preparing attempts on our country's political and military leadership.

"There are not one or two such stories, I will say this: there are up to ten of them," added the head of the SSU, but noted that the Security Service detects such enemy plans in time and neutralizes them.
