Hanno Pevkur, First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Estonia, visited Kyiv Region. The foreign delegation visited the mass graves of civilians killed by the Russian occupiers in Bucha and inspected the destruction of the residential sector in Irpin.
This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba in the Telegram.
"Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Estonia has announced its clear position in support of our country, including granting the status of a candidate for EU membership. Since the beginning of hostilities, the Estonian authorities have constantly been sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine for our military. We are grateful to have foreign partners who stand side by side with Ukraine in the struggle for justice and freedom," the statement reads.
