This was stated by the spokesperson for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, during a telethon.

"We understand that the threat from drones is growing, there are more of them, and accordingly, we need more means that will be used rationally against these UAVs. There are all signs that strike drones will dominate more in attacks. That's why we need to draw conclusions and prepare for this," said Ignat.

He added that Ukraine needs to increase the number of air defense assets.

"Do you understand how many means of attack Ukraine spends on missiles, reconnaissance UAVs, and strike UAVs? If the enemy increases the number of strike drones, we definitely need to increase the number of assets," the spokesperson noted.

According to him, Ukraine can only increase the number of air defense assets with the help of Western partners, so ongoing work with allies in the "Ramstein" format is taking place.
