In one and a half years of operation, the Ukrainian maritime corridor has transported 100 million tons of cargo to 53 countries worldwide.
This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.
"The Ukrainian maritime corridor works despite all the challenges of war, despite Russia's constant attacks on our ports. 100 million tons of cargo have been transported in the corridor's one and a half years of operation. Our export has reached 53 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and America," he informed.
According to Zelensky, this result is felt not only in Ukraine but also in the respective countries that consume Ukrainian food products.
"Ukraine, while defending itself in this war, is also ensuring global food security thanks to the work of the maritime corridor. Because the resilience of our maritime industry is not just about the economy, it's also about protecting humanity," the president emphasized.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who made this result possible, "first of all, our soldiers, who ensured the return of free navigation and the expulsion of the Russian military fleet."
