Ukraine is discussing all possible options for sector-specific ceasefires, including in the maritime and energy sectors, but it is too early to say which of them could realistically be implemented.
President Volodymyr Zelensky made the statement during a conversation with journalists.
"As for which sector-specific ceasefires might be possible, we are discussing all options, including the sea and energy. I am not yet ready to say which could be realistic or more realistic, although I have an understanding," Zelensky said.
He explained that he did not want to disclose details prematurely, as Russia could deliberately act against potential agreements.
"I don't want to say something only for Russia, as always, to deliberately do the opposite. So let's wait," the president said.
Zelensky also noted an intensification of discussions and meetings with the United States.
"I personally spoke with the American side three times in recent days. I hope the meeting of our negotiators will produce results," he said.
