This was announced by the First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko, following a meeting with the British Secretary of State for International Trade Anne-Marie Trevelyan.
âThis will allow Ukrainian exporters to increase the volume of exported products. First of all, we are talking about flour, grain, dairy products, poultry meat and semi-finished products, honey, corn, and sugar. As a result, we will attract additional volumes of foreign exchange earnings to the country, which will positively impact macro-financial stability in the state,â the press service of the Ministry of Economy quotes Yulia Sviridenko as saying.
The officials also discussed the growth of trade between Ukraine and the UK. Last year it increased by 40%. Significant progress can be expected in 2022 even despite the war.
