As of 8:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, twelve attacks by Russian forces took place in the area of responsibility of the Joint Forces Grouping on the southern Slobozhanske and Velykyi Burluk axes, the group’s press service reported on Telegram.
Russian troops attacked near Vovchansk, Kamyanka, and toward Dvorichanske. Their main efforts are focused on trying to expand their foothold in the southwestern part of Vovchansk, where heavy fighting continues.
On the Kupiansk axis, Russian forces launched twelve assaults on Ukrainian positions. Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks toward the settlements of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Hlushkivka.
On the Lyman axis, Russian forces carried out nine attacks, attempting to breach Ukrainian defenses near Novoyehorivka, Borivska Andriivka, Hrekivka, Zarichne, Novoselivka, and toward Korovyn Yar and Druzheliubivka.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a total of 169 combat engagements took place along the entire frontline over the past day.
Russian forces launched one missile strike and sixty-two airstrikes, fired six missiles, dropped 144 guided aerial bombs, carried out 4,916 artillery attacks (including 134 using multiple launch rocket systems), and deployed 5,525 kamikaze drones.
