Kazakhstan has banned the export of 106 types of high-tech goods to Russia that could be used in warfare.

This decision was announced by Vice Minister of Trade and Integration, Kayrat Torebayev, as reported by the Kazakh Telegraph Agency.

Torebayev clarified that imports from Russia to Kazakhstan are still allowed, but exports from Kazakhstan to Russia are restricted.

"We export all goods except those related to warfare – restrictions have been imposed on them. These are 106 types of goods for which we have completely banned exports," said Torebayev.

Among the restricted goods are drones, microchips, and electronics that could be used during wartime.

"These 106 types of goods are not manufactured in Kazakhstan and were previously re-exported through Kazakhstan," Torebayev explained.
