The team of the Kyiv International Short Film Festival (KISFF), with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program, will showcase Ukrainian short films in the film market of the world's largest short film festival in Clermont-Ferrand. The event will take place from February 5 to 8, 2024. KISFF will have a stand representing Ukrainian short films at the market.

The selected films for the screening programme include:

  1. "How I Spent My Summer Holidays?" by Antonio Lukich
  2. "The Seventh Shift" by Natalia Ilchuk
  3. "Home 1117 km Northeast" by Marta Smerchynska
  4. "Mokosh" by Anna Dudko
  5. "Hello, I'm on Top" by Liza Pyrozhkova
  6. "Comma" by Sonia Leliukh
  7. "No One in Paris Thinks About Tomorrow" by Andriy Kokura
  8. "Voices from Bakhmut" by Ihor Babayev

Participation in the industry section in Clermont-Ferrand provides a great opportunity for Ukrainian representatives of the film industry to establish professional connections with European distributors and programmers, exchange experiences, and build future collaborations.

In addition to the listed films, directors and producers with short film projects in the production stage, including Victoria Zadorska ("Kosmotato"), Kyrylo Naumko ("Round Glasses"), Viacheslav Turyanitsa ("Bograch"), Olena Siatovska ("The Running Earth"), and Iryna Sosimovych ("Misunderstanding"), will join the Ukrainian delegation.

They will participate in Talents Connexion, an industry hub for artists within the film market at the Clermont-Ferrand festival. Talents Connexion participants will have the opportunity to attend collective thematic workshops and present their film projects to industry representatives.

Additionally, the KISFF team will present an online catalog of Ukrainian short films, featuring completed films as well as works in progress.
