The film "Klondike" by Marina Er Horbach, created with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency, received awards at festivals in the USA, Kosovo and Georgia.
The film received the Jury Prize for Outstanding Direction at the Crested Butte Film Festival (USA), which is included in the rating of "25 coolest film festivals in the world" according to MovieMaker Magazine.
Also, the other day, the film won awards at two more festivals. At the PriFest - Prishtina International Film Festival in Kosovo, Klondike became the "Best Feature Film" of the Global Cinema international competition and was awarded the Media award by a jury consisting of recognized journalists from the Balkan region.
In Georgia, at the Batumi International Art-House Film Festival, it received prizes as "Best Film" and "Best Direction" in the international competition.
The winner of Sundance and Berlinale will be shown in Ukrainian cinemas this fall, starting on November 3. "Klondike" will also compete for an Oscar nomination in Ukraine's "Best International Feature Film" category.
