"Kyiv received the Special Recognition award of the international World Smart City Awards competition for the Kyiv Digital city application," Vitali Klitschko said.
The award ceremony took place at the Smart City Expo congress in Barcelona. This is the largest annual global event where experiences and achievements in creating "smart" cities are discussed and the best innovative cities and projects are celebrated.
This year, the capital of Ukraine was recognized among many cities from different countries of the world. Kyiv received recognition for its achievements in developing the "smart" municipal management system.
