Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys highlighted the aftermath of a Russian attack on the country’s Honorary Consulate in Kherson, calling the assault a New Year’s “greeting” from Russia.
The minister shared his comments on the social media platform X.
“Such brutality and destruction must end. We must provide Ukraine with more air defense& other capabilities it needs for victory,” Budrys wrote.
Photos shared by the Lithuanian foreign minister reveal the damage caused by the Russian shelling, including the severely damaged facade of the consulate building.
