Lithuanian Foreign Minister highlights damage to Honorary Consulate in Kherson after Russian attack

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys highlighted the aftermath of a Russian attack on the country’s Honorary Consulate in Kherson, calling the assault a New Year’s “greeting” from Russia.

The minister shared his comments on the social media platform X.

“Such brutality and destruction must end. We must provide Ukraine with more air defense& other capabilities it needs for victory,” Budrys wrote.

In Kherson region, at least 24 civilian objects were damaged throughout the day on January 3 due to shelling. As of 5:30 PM, six people were reported to have been injured
