In Lithuania, volunteers from the Blue/Yellow organisation have raised €1.3 million in eight weeks to purchase drones for Ukraine.

The funds will be used to strengthen the air defence capabilities of both countries: 80% of the total will go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while 20% will be allocated to the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union.

The money will be used to purchase interceptor drones and counter-drone systems, as well as to finance operator training.

The organisation has already begun purchasing interceptor drones, some of which have been delivered to Ukraine.

The volunteers had originally planned to raise €1 million. However, due to intensified Russian attacks, the organisation began using the funds before the fundraising campaign had ended.

In particular, Ukrainian troops have already tested Lithuanian-made Defender interceptor drones.
