Luxembourg’s total contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund has increased by €10 million.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
“The Government of Luxembourg has officially raised its contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund to €12 million. An additional €10 million has already been received and is fully available in the fund’s special account,” the statement says.
Overall, the Energy Support Fund has already accumulated over €1.16 billion from more than 33 donors. Over 790 contracts for the supply of equipment and materials to Ukrainian energy workers have been signed with more than 50 companies.
Meanwhile, the Energy Community Secretariat, which manages the fund, urges all donors to increase their contributions, as there is currently a gap of about €617 million between available resources and priority needs.
