The number of people injured as a result of the massive Russian drone attack on Kyiv has risen to 18, and people continue to seek medical help.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko.

"Currently, it is known about two dead and 13 injured as a result of the attack. People continue to seek medical assistance," he said.

A little later, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration clarified the information:

"Unfortunately, the number of people injured in the night attack is increasing. It is now known that 15 people have been wounded. They are receiving medical care."

As reported, during the massive Russian drone attack on the capital, falling debris caused fires. Earlier, two dead and 11 injured had been reported.

 

 

On the night of September 7, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and cruise missiles.

 

 

"In the Sviatoshynskyi district, according to preliminary information, two people were killed – a young woman and a child under 1 year old," the mayor said.

After the cruise missile strike, a thick column of black smoke rises over the city.

The State Emergency Service reported 18 people injured in the capital.

 

 

In the Sviatoshynskyi district, several multi-story buildings were damaged.

"In a nine-story building, a fire broke out from the 6th to the 9th floor, and some floor slabs were partially destroyed; in another building, there was a fire on the upper floors; in yet another, a fire occurred on the 3rd floor. A hangar and cars were also destroyed," the report said.

In the Darnytskyi district, a four-story residential building was hit – a fire broke out on two floors, and there was partial destruction.

The fires have been localized, and emergency rescue operations continue.
