In October 2025, Ukraine exported 4.5 million tons of agricultural products, which is 20.8% higher than the same figure for the previous month.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB).
Analysts believe that the main reasons for the increase in exports in October were the accelerated pace of harvest, the implementation of the mechanism exempting soybean and rapeseed producers from the 10% export duty under the so-called “soy amendments,” favorable market conditions for sunflower oil, and an increase in sunflower seed supply.
Due to weather conditions, the harvest of soybeans, sunflower, and corn this year was spread out over a longer period. In October, the harvested volumes began to accumulate quickly, which also contributed to the growth of exports.
In October 2025, the largest increase in exports was seen in oilseeds and their processed products.
Specifically, during this period Ukraine exported 2.7 million tons of grains (with corn accounting for 35%, wheat 56%, and barley 8% of the total), which is 9% more than in September 2025.
Ukraine also increased shipments of oilseeds to 447.1 thousand tons (soybeans 53%, rapeseed 45%, flax 2%), which is 39% higher compared to the previous month.
Exports of vegetable oils rose by 63% in October, reaching 510.8 thousand tons (sunflower oil 72%, soybean oil 9%, rapeseed oil 18%).
Oilcakes remaining after oil extraction were exported in volumes of 467.2 thousand tons (sunflower cake 73%, soybean cake 27%), which is 66% more than in September.
Exports of other types of agro-industrial products also grew by 14%, reaching 386.1 thousand tons.
