Meta Corporation, which owns the social networks Facebook and Instagram, has removed a network of fake accounts that posted pro-Russian comments to support the war in Ukraine.

According to the publication, the accounts were managed by a bot farm in St. Petersburg, which posted vacancies for "spammers, commentators, content analysts, designers, and programmers."
The accounts posted pro-Russian comments on content shared by social media influencers and media companies to give the impression of support for Russia.
They were directed against politicians, journalists, actors, and celebrities who strongly support Ukraine.
