Police investigators initiated about eight thousand criminal proceedings on crimes committed by Russian and Belarusian military.
In almost two months of the war, 85 sabotage and reconnaissance groups were exposed and 659 people were detained.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky announced this in a video message. According to him, a new terrible phenomenon has appeared - war crimes.
He also said that police investigator had initiated about eight thousand criminal proceedings on crimes committed by the Russian and Belarusian military.
Also, according to him, more than 54 thousand police officers are now serving in areas of active hostilities.
During the war, 3,640,000 people left Ukraine, and 1,130,000 people returned, about 31,000 humanitarian aid vehicles were brought into the country

First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Yenin said that the police are introducing an enhanced mode of service, as there is preliminary information about possible provocations by the Russian special services and the sabotage groups.
"First of all, we are talking about an attempt to disrupt services in individual churches, bomb experts will check all churches for possible mining. In addition, we will introduce an enhanced police regime in the area of ​​​​key churches. Especially during the mass arrival of parishioners," Enin said.
