The United States is a reliable partner of the Ministry of Digital Transformation both on the part of the Government and in the context of supporting corporate sanctions by the largest technology companies. All the achievements of this bilateral cooperation have become the foundation of Ukraine's digital confrontation in the context of a full-scale war. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during a meeting with the  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Ukraine Bridget Brink at the UA30 cybercenter.

During the tour of the cyber center, the Deputy Prime Minister briefed the U.S. Ambassador on the activities of the Ministry of Digital Transfirmation, the State Special Communications Service, how the government team CERT-UA, which responds to computer emergencies, works, and presented the action ecosystem.

"The United States has been an important partner for us since the founding of the Ministry. Thanks to our USAID donors, we have implemented many projects to digitize the country before the full-scale war and continue to work now. All the services we launched together with the TAPAS project have a great anti-corruption effect. And the USAID-supported Cybersecurity Critical Infrastructure project has helped strengthen our cybersecurity so that during a full-scale war we can not only defend ourselves but launch new services every week, ” said Mykhailo Fedorov.

USAID also assists the Ministry of the Interior and the State Special Services during a full-scale war. With USAID assistance, Ukraine received 5,000 Starlink stations.

Bridget Brink, in turn, noted that the United States will continue to support Ukraine and the development of digitalization and cybersecurity.

"As the Ministry of Digital Transformation accelerates Ukraine's future and protects the country from persistent Russian cyberattacks, the United States will continue to support Minister Fedorov and his team in important work to protect Ukraine, its people, and their democratic future through USAID mechanisms," the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.

"Ukraine and the United States are among the top countries against which cyber attacks are carried out. We have common enemies in cyberspace, and that unites us. Our countries support deep and fruitful cooperation in the field of cyber defense both at the interstate and corporate levels," said Yurii Shchyhol, Chairman of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine.

He stressed that the United States was among the first countries to offer and provide us with assistance during the January 14 attack, which we consider the beginning of an active phase of russia’s  war against Ukraine in cyberspace. Leading American IT companies are now helping our state to resist the aggressor.
