A new cargo plane has arrived from Tehran to Moscow. It could have brought 'Shahed' drones or components for them.
This was reported by the spokesperson for the Armed Forces of Southern Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, in a TV marathon.
"As of yesterday, the arrival of a new cargo aircraft from Tehran to Moscow was recorded. This may indicate the continuation of deliveries, both of finished products and spare parts from which the Russians assemble these barricade shells on their own territory," said Humeniuk.
She added that the assistance from Russia via Iran continues, meaning that new drones for attacks on Ukraine could be manufactured.
"Support from Iran to the terrorist country continues, which means that new drones can be prepared for launch. Almost every night, the enemy attacks the territory of Ukraine and uses nighttime for such attacks. The last two nights were less intense, probably due to weather conditions because drones fear severe cold," the spokesperson said.
According to her, as of the morning of January 11, Russia launched missiles at the deployment points, but in the Black Sea, three Russian ships are on combat duty.
Humeniuk emphasized that there have been no shelling from the sea for a long time. This is explained by the forced relocation of Russian missile carriers from Crimea to Novorossiysk. However, the spokesperson warned that pinpoint strikes on Ukraine are not ruled out.
