The company Syos, which has offices in Ukraine, the United Kingdom and New Zealand, is actively developing the maritime unmanned systems direction.

Over the past year it has manufactured more than 140 drones, some of which were delivered to Ukraine, Naval News reports.

Combat use experience in Ukraine has helped Syos rapidly improve its technologies. For example, the SM300 model has a range of 650 nautical miles and a payload capacity of 300 kg, and its cost is about $210,000.

Recently Syos demonstrated its systems for the British navy. Five Rattler surface drones were remotely controlled from Portsmouth and escorted ships off the coast of Scotland.

The company is also developing a new medium-range maritime drone with a range of up to 2,000 km, suitable for patrolling and protecting maritime borders. In addition to maritime drones, Syos has developed an interceptor for countering Shahed-style kamikaze drones that Russia uses against Ukraine
