NIBULON’s agro-division reduced its water consumption by 34% compared to the previous season, according to the company’s press service.

In 2024, the agricultural department significantly cut its intake of water from both surface (rivers) and underground (wells) sources, using 80,184 cubic meters — down from 121,210 cubic meters in 2023.

“This became possible thanks to the use of modern sprayers and pesticide mixing equipment (NIBULON uses the RZS-28 sprayers by Kobzarenko). The new equipment allows for more accurate dosing of water and crop protection agents, reduces losses during solution preparation, and minimizes excessive water use,” the company stated.

In 2024, NIBULON also updated its application maps for pesticides across key crops — corn, soybeans, wheat, and rapeseed.

One of the key innovations was the introduction of low-volume spraying, significantly reducing water use per hectare:

  • up to 110 L/ha for soil applications,
  • 30–50 L/ha for insurance treatments.

Each working solution is now tested for pH, hardness, and other parameters to ensure the maximum effectiveness of active substances.
