The Russian Federation launched nearly half a hundred combat drones over Ukraine tonight, on December 6. Air defense forces destroyed 41 UAVs, according to the Ukrainian Air Forces reported on Telegram.
Russian occupying forces attacked Ukraine with "kamikaze" drones from two directions - Cape Chauda (Crimea) and the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. A total of 48 combat drones launches were recorded.
"As a result of the air battle by the forces and means of the Air Forces, in cooperation with the air defense forces of Ukraine, 41 enemy combat UAVs were destroyed," the statement said.
It is noted that fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the Russian attack.
