In 2025, Norway will allocate the largest military aid in its history. This refers to an amount for Ukraine that will exceed €2 billion.
This was reported by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
"In 2025, Norway will allocate the largest military aid in its history — over €2 billion — specifically for Ukraine. These agreements will take our cooperation to a new level," Umerov explained.
He noted that particular attention was given to strengthening air defense systems during his discussions with Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram.
"Additionally, Norway will continue to invest in the Ukrainian defense industry and joint projects, including ammunition production. We discussed a new cooperation mechanism — the 'Norwegian model,' which will complement the already successful 'Danish model' and strengthen our defense capabilities," emphasized the minister.
