The boats were provided as part of an international technical assistance project funded by the European Union.

It is noted that the Bilhorod-Dniestrovsky border detachment of the Odessa region received four new UMS-425CC patrol boats worth UAH 2.2 million.
The boats were provided within the framework of the international technical assistance project "Together with the EU towards border security", funded by the European Union and implemented by IOM Ukraine.
Each boat accommodates a crew of four, is equipped with life jackets and an echo sounder to determine the water depth below the vessel.
Last year, within the framework of the same project, the border guards received two boats UMS - 545DC and UMS - 425CC, which showed their high reliability while protecting the state border.
