Russia once again attacked Ukraine overnight on March 31st. The Russian forces utilized missiles and drones, with energy infrastructure once again targeted.

Odessa Region

Eight kamikaze drones were destroyed in Odessa Region. Due to the debris falling from one of the drones, an energy facility caught fire in Odessa Region. As a result, several settlements were left without electricity. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Following the overnight attack in Odessa and surrounding areas, emergency power outages were implemented. As of 10:00 AM, 10,000 subscribers in Odessa and the surrounding area were without power. Due to the shortage of electricity, tram and trolleybus services in Odessa were suspended, with buses replacing them on routes.

Energy officials warned that if consumption increases, restrictions may be imposed in other areas.

Lviv Region

The Russian forces attacked a critical infrastructure object with cruise missiles, which was also targeted during attacks on March 24 and 29. The impact caused a fire, and an administrative building was destroyed.

As a result of the attack, one person died, but rescue operations are ongoing at the site. The head of Lviv Regional State Administration does not rule out the possibility that there may be people trapped under the rubble.
