As of August 3, agricultural producers of the Odessa region threshed 533.6 thousand hectares of early grain and leguminous crops (72.4% of the forecast), threshed 2.154 million tons of grain of the new harvest.
This is reported in the Department of Agrarian Policy, Food and Land Relations of the Odessa Regional State Administration.
The average yield for today in the region is 40.4 centners per hectare, including winter wheat - 41.1 centners / ha, winter barley - 41.4 centners / ha, spring barley - 32.6 centners / ha, peas - 19 centners per hectare

According to the Forecast, Ukraine will set a record of wheat harvest this year.
According to preliminary estimates of Ukrainian club of agricultural business, the following gross harvest are expected this season:
- wheat - 30.7 million tons, which is 23% higher than last year, and is a record figure in the entire history of Ukraine's independence;
- barley - 10.1 million tons, which is 33% higher than last year;
- rapeseed - 2.6 million tons, which is 3% higher than in the previous year;
- peas - 529 thousand tons, which is 10% more than last year.
However, it should be borne in mind that the further course of harvesting strongly depends on weather conditions.
