Odessa region will receive part of the industrial boilers allocated by Italy to Ukraine, with capacities ranging from 550 to 3,000 kW and a total value of €1.85 million, according to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
“Odessa region will receive additional sources of power generation thanks to the support of the government and international partners. Odessa region is among the regions that will receive additional equipment in the near future,” he wrote on Telegram on Friday.
In particular, he noted that Ukraine will receive about 80 industrial boilers from Italy with capacities ranging from 550 to 3,000 kW, worth a total of €1.85 million. Part of this equipment will be allocated to meet the needs of Odessa region.
“I sincerely thank the Government of Ukraine and our international partners for their systematic support of Odessa region and for strengthening the region’s energy resilience in wartime,” Kiper wrote.
As previously reported, Kyiv, which currently has the most difficult electricity situation, will receive additional sources of generation and cogeneration, Deputy Prime Minister for Ukraine’s Recovery and Minister for Communities and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba said following the second meeting of the task force to address the consequences of the emergency in the energy system of Kyiv and Kyiv Region.
