The rotation of the Russian military in unrecognized Transnistria takes place under the guise of tourists entering Moldova through European countries. The Russian Federation does not currently supply weapons to the so-called "PMR", but they still deliver spare parts for repair and maintenance.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov spoke about this on his YouTube channel.

"Moldova has closed its airspace. It has banned its own and, of course, Russian airlines from using the airspace of Moldova. Today, the rotation takes place under the guise of tourists, and the Russian military can arrive in Transnistria through Chisinau, through third countries," he says.

Zhdanov noted that the Russian military entered Moldova through European countries with fake passports, "legendary" documents that are made as real but issued under a different surname.

"This is how the rotation of personnel takes place. As for equipment and weapons, there is no rotation. The only thing is that spare parts are delivered there to repair and maintain equipment and weapons," he said.

According to the expert, unfortunately, it is impossible to block the transit of these spare parts completely.

“There is no transit through Ukraine today. There is no railway connection between Russia and Ukraine, it is closed. But through, say, European countries, deliveries are quite possible. Spare parts are sold not as military goods but as goods of the national economy. No one carries armored hulls and heavy machine guns, and all the rest - nuts, keys, gears, bearings, carburetors, batteries - are not 100% military goods, yes, they can be included in goods of double value, but no one will prove … Let's say they go from Novorossiysk to some the port of Crimea, or the port of Moldova on the Danube, continues to get cargo or goods to the territory of Transnistria," Zhdanov explained.

He also noted that trade and economic relations between Moldova and Russia had not been severed; there is an agreement between the countries, such as in Belarus - on friendship and cooperation with the Russian Federation.
