According to the expert, the invaders sent troops to the Kryvyi Rih direction.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov assessed the threat of an offensive by Russian troops on Zaporizhzhia from two directions - from Nikopol and Vasilyevka.

He expressed his opinion on the extent to which such a scenario for developing events is real on his YouTube channel.

"Theoretically, this is possible, in theory, one can talk about a lot. But the fact is that the advance from Vasilyevka is problematic. There, on the contrary, we pushed the Russian troops back several times in the direction of Melitopol. Therefore, to say that they will pass there is not" , - the expert is sure.

“I will not change my mind about Nikopol. I think this is an unlikely direction in which the Russians will try to move if they even carry out an offensive operation in the Kryvyi Rih direction. Although judging by the fact that they gathered troops there, all of them are almost there concentrated, they are ready to take risks. But we'll see," Zhdanov added.

At the same time, the expert emphasized that at the moment, Zaporizhzhia is sufficiently fortified. However, he once again noted that Russian troops nevertheless strengthened their grouping in the Kryvyi Rih direction:

"And all the most combat-ready, which was in the Zaporizhzhia direction, is mainly Russian landing, it all went to the Kryvyi Rih direction."
