The OpenDataBot open data platform asserts that over four hundred companies operating in Ukraine are attempting to conceal business connections with the aggressor country.

According to information on the OpenDataBot website, it has been revealed that despite a moratorium on registration actions for companies owned by citizens of Russia, 401 companies with Russian links have made changes and removed owners and beneficiaries from Russia.

Furthermore, there are sporadic cases of formal ownership changes rather than actual ones, as stated by OpenDataBot.

"Over the course of a year and a half of full-scale war, despite legislative prohibitions, 401 companies with Russian links have made changes and removed owners and beneficiaries from Russia," the statement reads.

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion into Ukraine, a moratorium has been imposed on carrying out registration actions for companies owned by citizens of Russia. This restriction was introduced to safeguard national interests for potential lawsuits by Ukraine in connection with Russia's military aggression.

Currently, only specific categories of Russian citizens have the right to make changes in companies they own. This includes those who legally reside within Ukraine's territory and those who hold a share of up to 10% in a company's statutory capital
