Over the past week, the Russian Federation has used more than 70 missiles, nearly 1,500 attack drones, and 1,170 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Facebook.

“Almost every night, Russia strikes our people with various types of weapons. Since last evening, there have been attacks on our communities — in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Odesa regions. Sadly, there are dead and wounded. My condolences to everyone who lost their loved ones in these attacks,” the President said.

According to him, in just one week, Russia used nearly 1,500 attack drones, 1,170 guided bombs, and more than 70 missiles of different types to target civilian life in Ukraine. Residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, and energy facilities were hit in numerous terrorist attacks.

Zelensky expressed gratitude to everyone helping after the strikes:

“I thank everyone who provides assistance after these attacks — our rescuers, who are always quick to respond on site, our energy workers, doctors, and all emergency services,” he said.

The President emphasized that “it is clear Moscow seeks to harm, first and foremost, our people.”

“That is why we are actively working to ensure reliable support for our energy system this winter. We have already reached concrete agreements with our partners. Through contributions to the Energy Support Fund or by providing the necessary equipment, we are receiving help from the United States, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Spain, and the European Commission. We are grateful to everyone who stands with Ukraine,” Zelensky added.
