12 projects at the pre-production stage have been selected to participate in the Odesa International Film Festival Pitching, which will be held as an associated event of the European Film Market, the international marketplace of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival.
Participation of Ukrainian productions at the Berlin Film Market is supported by USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine (USAID CEP). The initiative is being implemented in cooperation with Goethe-Institut.
As part of the Pitching of the Odesa International Film Festival, there will be presentations of new projects by Ukrainian directors. Among them are projects of feature films, documentary feature films and serials. Each of the Pitching participants has a rich festival history of their previous works that took part in the world's leading film festivals, such as the Berlinale, Cannes, Venice, etc. In their new works, the participants will present a fresh and up-to-date look at Ukrainian cinema, which will allow the world to better and deeper understand the culture of Ukraine.

These projects will be presented to international film professionals during the European Film Market, which runs from 16 to 22 February 2023. OIFF pitching will take place on February 18, 17.00 at the Martin Gropius Bau, 2nd Floor, EFM Producers & Projects Hub.
As part of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, the European Film Market will be held on February 16-22. The Ukrainian National Stand, organized jointly by the Ukrainian State Film Agency, the Film Industry Association of Ukraine, Film Industry Association of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Motion Picture Association and with the financial support of German Films with the assistance of the European Film Market, will work within EFM. The catalog of Ukrainian production companies (Production Guide of Ukraine) and opportunities for cooperation with Ukraine in the field of cinema will be showcased within the Ukrainian stand. EFM's measures to support the presence of the Ukrainian film industry are co-funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
