Poland today in the morning, on January 23, deployed its aviation into the sky. This occurred against the backdrop of a missile attack by Russian forces on Ukraine.
This information is reported by the Twitter account of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland.
"We report that there is intense activity of the Russian Federation's long-range aviation, associated with the intention to strike the territory of Ukraine. All necessary procedures have been initiated to ensure the safety of Poland's airspace, and the situation is monitored continuously," the statement reads.
It is noted that the aviation of Poland and its allies has been activated.
Residents of Poland, especially in the southeast, have been warned about an increase in noise levels.
