The Polish side also offers expert consulting services regarding airport investments and further development planning.

Poland is ready to help Ukraine in the post-war reconstruction of airports, said the Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy of Poland, Marcin Horala, at a meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, Vasyl Zvarych.

This is reported by the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy of the Republic of Poland.

Also at the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of supporting the reconstruction of Ukrainian airports, cooperation in implementing the high-speed railway project (KDP) and reviewing the TEN-T network.

"We see a number of opportunities to support Ukraine in the field of a broad understanding of the post-war reconstruction of Ukrainian airports. We maintain constant contact with representatives of the Association of Airports of Ukraine and directly with Ukrainian airports. We can also offer them our expert consulting services regarding investments related to airports and planning their further development," Horala emphasized.

It is noted that in the meeting with the ambassador of Ukraine in Poland, which took place in the office of the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy of the Republic of Poland, the president of the State Enterprise "Polish Airports" Stanislav Voyter also took part. Both sides agreed to continue working on the development of a possible targeted model of cooperation in this direction.

The issue of strengthening cooperation in the implementation of the high-speed railway project between the two countries and the related revision of the TEN-T network was also raised.

"In addition to the railway connection on the Warsaw-Kyiv route via Jagodyn, we want to offer a new route connecting Polish and Ukrainian cities. The Centralny Port Komunikacyjny company plans to build the Lublin - Zamostia - Belzec railway line to the Polish-Ukrainian border. On the other hand, such a route from the Ukrainian could run through Rava Ruska to Lviv and Kyiv. In the future, it will also be possible to expand it to the east of the Carpathians to the Black Sea ports of Ukraine and Romania," Horala added.
