Airports in Rzeszów and Lublin temporarily suspended operations to ensure unrestricted movement of military aircraft amid Russia’s overnight attack on Ukraine.

This was reported by TVP World, citing the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA).

According to Ewa Złotnicka, spokesperson for the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, military aircraft were carrying out planned flights in Poland, and there was no threat to Polish airspace.

She declined to comment on which specific aircraft were involved.

Later on Tuesday morning, both airports resumed normal operations.
