Against the background of the energy crisis and Russia's attempts to destroy the energy system of Ukraine, Prague decided to send a batch of heaters and generators to Kyiv and Mykolaiv.

As the mayor of Prague Zdeněk Hřib wrote on Twitter, residents of Kyiv and Mykolaiv will receive an assistance package from the Czech capital, which includes more than 600 heaters, 18 generators, and medical equipment.

“We are sending a package of assistance from Prague to Ukrainians suffering from the Russian genocide: 626 heaters (400 for Kyiv, 226 for Mykolaiv), 18 generators (10 for Kyiv, 8 for Mykolaiv). Plus medical equipment for 22 million kroons for the Public Health Center under the Ministry healthcare of Ukraine," the mayor wrote.

"We will support Ukraine until it wins. And we will support it even after the victory as part of the post-war reconstruction. Evil must not win," the mayor of Prague said.
