President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of Argentina Javier Milei.
The Head of State informed about his recent contacts with partners and stressed that Ukraine’s position is absolutely clear: a just peace and reliable security guarantees are needed. Javier Milei expressed his willingness to make personal efforts toward achieving peace.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy commended Argentina’s economic achievements, particularly deregulation and overcoming inflation. The President of Ukraine congratulated the President of Argentina on these results and wished him further success. The Head of State noted that Ukraine is interested in studying Argentina’s experience. The leaders discussed the possibility of doing so.
The Presidents paid close attention to the development of bilateral relations, especially cooperation in technology, the economy, the agricultural sector, and many other fields.
They also agreed to resume the format of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries. Their teams will work actively to ensure these take place in the near future.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Javier Milei for participating in the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. The President of Argentina assured that Ukraine can count on continued support.
The leaders agreed on their next contacts. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that he would be pleased to welcome Javier Milei to Ukraine.
