The cooperation between Ukraine and Poland has the implementation of infrastructure projects among its firm priorities, in particular in the railroad and road transportation sectors. It was said at a meeting in Kyiv between the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki.

The Head of the Ukrainian Government stressed that one of the main tasks of the bilateral partnership is the integration of Ukraine's road infrastructure with the EU transport corridors.

At the initiative of the Presidents of Ukraine and Poland, we have launched a dialogue on the connection of Kyiv and Warsaw by high-speed railway. Reconstruction, modernization and technical re-equipment of five checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border have also begun.
