From July 25 to 27, 2025, Lisbon’s Cinema São Jorge will host PROMIN – FESTIVAL, a dynamic cultural event dedicated to contemporary Ukrainian art, film, and thought. The festival offers a rich program of screenings, exhibitions, discussions, and lectures aimed at introducing international audiences to the creative voices shaping modern Ukraine.
The film section will include acclaimed Ukrainian works supported by the Ukrainian State Film Agency.
The festival will open with “Forever-Forever” by director Anna Buryachkova,
followed on July 26 by a screening of “La Palisiada”, directed by Philip Sotnychenko. More program details will be announced soon.
PROMIN – FESTIVAL is organized through a collaborative effort by Shcherbenko Art Centre, Cinema São Jorge, the Embassy of Ukraine in Portugal, PR Army, Tabor, and a network of cultural partners.
More than just a cultural event, PROMIN positions itself as a space for dialogue — connecting Ukraine and the world through the universal language of art.
