Thanks to the support of the State of Qatar, a total of 68 Ukrainian children were returned home.

This was reported on Telegram by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.

“I met with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Ukraine, Gadi Nasser Al-Hajri. First and foremost, I thanked this country for its effective and extremely important support in the return and rehabilitation of Ukrainian children. In total, 68 children were able to return home thanks to Qatar's assistance,” he wrote.

Among other topics discussed, according to the ombudsman, were the recent prisoner exchange, the return of civilian citizens illegally detained by Russia, and the situation with the deportation of Ukrainian children.

In addition, the two sides discussed further cooperation, including the return of Ukrainian children, the rehabilitation of victims, and support for deported women and children.

“I believe and know that cooperation between Ukraine and Qatar will continue to be based on the principles of respect for human rights! I sincerely thank this country for such invaluable assistance,” the Commissioner stressed.
