Russia has deployed up to 2,000 personnel for an attack on Avdiivka

This information comes from Vitaliy Barabash, the head of the Avdiivka military-civil administration, who made these statements during a telethon.

Ukrainian forces have reported destroying more than 60 enemy vehicles, which represents an unprecedented level of conflict in this particular area.

"The situation remains very tense. Indeed, yesterday, they (the Russians) launched a massive offensive. Starting at around 3 o'clock, massive shelling of positions around the city began, from the north and the south, also covering the Industrial area," states the report.

Around 5:30-6:00, militants started shelling Avdiivka. The Russian forces used considerable armor and tens of armored vehicles for the storm, and the military administration clarified that Russia had deployed up to 2,000 personnel for this attack on Avdiivka.
