Russia strikes with ballistic missiles and 60 drones: 38 UAVs intercepted

On the night of October 20 (from 7:00 PM on October 19), the Russian forces launched an attack using three Iskander‑M/KN‑23 ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea and 60 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as other drones, from the directions of: Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko‑Akhtarsk — Russia, and Chauda — occupied Crimea, with about 40 of them being Shaheds.

The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and drone units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM, air defense had shot down or suppressed 38 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the north, south, and east of the country.

Impacts were recorded from three ballistic missiles and 20 strike UAVs at 12 locations.
