Russian attacks across Ukraine kill 7 civilians and injure 49, damaging infrastructure

Russian forces continued attacks across several Ukrainian regions over the past day, killing civilians, injuring dozens of people, and damaging residential buildings, infrastructure and businesses.

In Donetsk region, five civilians were injured as a result of Russian strikes, according to regional authorities. Two people were wounded in Sloviansk, two in Druzhkivka, and one in Raihorodok.

Police reported 1,129 Russian attacks across the region, damaging 21 civilian facilities, including 15 residential buildings. Druzhkivka was hit by three GAB-250 guided bombs and drones, damaging a nine-story apartment building and injuring two people. Sloviansk was attacked with four guided bombs, injuring four civilians and damaging six private houses and an educational facility.

In Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces carried out 913 strikes against 52 settlements. Two people were killed and seven injured in Zaporizhzhia city and surrounding areas.

The attacks included 19 air strikes, one MLRS strike, 215 artillery strikes and 678 drone attacks, mostly using FPV drones. Authorities received 78 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, vehicles and private buildings.

In Sumy region, Russian forces launched 92 attacks on 30 settlements between July 22 and 23. One person was killed and seven injured.

The Russian military used guided aerial bombs, mortars, artillery and various types of drones. In Sumy city, drone strikes damaged three fuel stations, a non-residential building and critical infrastructure. A 57-year-old man was killed in Seredyna-Buda community, while civilians were also injured in Bilopillia, Bereza, Velyka Pysarivka and Sadiv communities.

 

 

In Kherson region, one person was killed and 20 others injured due to Russian attacks. The strikes targeted dozens of settlements, including Kherson city. Russian forces damaged three apartment buildings, 28 private houses, a fuel station, mobile communication towers, a shop, agricultural machinery, vehicles and other civilian infrastructure.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces attacked more than 20 times using drones and artillery. The strikes damaged residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure in Nikopol, Marhanets, Tomakivka, Chervonohryhorivka and other communities.

 

 

A separate Russian strike hit Pavlohrad, damaging a food industry enterprise and causing a fire. Three people were killed and 10 injured in the attack.

In Chernihiv region, Russian forces targeted two energy facilities in border communities with Gerbera drones. Additional strikes damaged agricultural buildings in Semenivka and a food industry enterprise in Mena. A drone attack also caused a fire that destroyed 23 hectares of rye fields.
