Over the past day, a series of Russian military strikes targeted multiple regions of Ukraine, causing civilian casualties and significant damage to infrastructure. Ukrainian authorities are actively responding to the aftermath, providing medical care, emergency services, and repair efforts amid ongoing hostilities.

Kryvyi Rih under drone attack

In Kryvyi Rih, the situation remains tense following a drone strike by Russian forces. According to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, three people were injured during the attack. Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted two of the incoming unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), but several drones still managed to strike the city, igniting fires and causing property damage.

Among the injured, a 52-year-old man is reported to be in serious condition, while a 44-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man received prompt medical assistance at the scene and are in stable condition. Emergency crews worked quickly to extinguish fires and secure affected areas.

Artillery shelling in Mykolaiv region

The Mykolaiv region experienced renewed Russian artillery shelling on Monday morning. The village of Dmytrivka, within the Kutsurub community, was heavily shelled, resulting in the death of a 49-year-old man and injuries to a 37-year-old woman. Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reported that the shelling also caused damage to private homes and a local shop, disrupting daily life and inflicting further hardship on residents.

Authorities have condemned the attack and emphasized the ongoing risks faced by civilians in frontline regions, urging continued vigilance and support for affected communities.

Drone strikes in Donetsk’s Sloviansk

Overnight, the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk region was again targeted by Russian Shahed-type drones, as confirmed by Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk city military administration. The drones struck the Zaliznychny district and the industrial Kerammash area, damaging factories and private residences.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported in this attack, though the destruction of civilian property added to the growing toll on the region’s infrastructure. Emergency responders and local authorities are assessing the damage and assisting residents affected by the strikes.

Heavy toll in Kherson region

The Kherson region saw one of the deadliest days in recent weeks due to relentless Russian aggression. Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, reported two fatalities and eight injuries resulting from drone attacks, artillery shelling, and airstrikes on multiple towns and villages.

Areas including Antonivka, Beryslav, and the city of Kherson itself faced sustained bombardment. Damage was extensive, with a multi-story building and over 20 private homes reported destroyed or severely damaged. Key infrastructure such as gas pipelines, cell towers, farm buildings, warehouses, and garages were also targeted, hampering critical services.

Prokudin highlighted the resilience of local communities despite the ongoing violence and reiterated the need for continued humanitarian assistance and support.

Massive attacks in Zaporizhzhia region

The Zaporizhzhia region endured a relentless barrage of attacks, with Russian forces launching 375 strikes across ten settlements, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration.

The assault included five airstrikes, 221 drone attacks (primarily FPV drones), 13 multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) strikes, and 136 artillery shellings targeting towns such as Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, and Huliaipole. One civilian casualty—a 70-year-old woman in Vasylivka district—was confirmed.

Homes, vehicles, and other civilian infrastructure suffered significant damage during the onslaught. Authorities continue to document the destruction and provide aid to those affected.

Destruction of food production enterprise in Kharkiv Region

In the Kharkiv region’s Derhachi city, a major local business was destroyed in a large-scale drone strike. Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, reported that seven Shahed drone strikes hit warehouses storing essential food products, including mayonnaise, seeds, beverages, and pet food.

Despite the rapid response by emergency services to extinguish resulting fires, the facility was critically damaged and is effectively destroyed. Additionally, cars, private homes, and key public buildings—including branches of the Pension Fund, State Treasury Service, and the Derhachi Public Library—sustained damage.

Remarkably, there were no casualties in the attack. The Derhachi Humanitarian Center has mobilized volunteers to provide temporary repairs and distribute materials to protect damaged properties
