Sumy region
From the morning of October 28 to the morning of October 29, Russian forces carried out 96 attacks on 40 settlements across 14 territorial communities in Sumy region, resulting in injuries among civilians, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration. In the Esman community, a 50-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were injured by an FPV drone strike. In the Velykopysarivska community, a 50-year-old man was injured when an explosive device was dropped from a UAV. The heaviest shelling was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.
Russian army strikes hit the communities of Yunakivska, Khotinska, Bilopilska, Krasnopilska, Hlukhivska, Esman, Shalyhynska, Druzhbivska, Sveska, Seredyno-Budska, Shostkinska, Velykopysarivska, Putivlska, and Novoslobidska.
The Russian forces actively used guided aerial bombs, UAVs, and dropped VOG munitions from drones: 15 VOG drops from UAVs, 15 guided bomb strikes, up to 10 UAV strikes, and FPV drone attacks across Sumy region.
Civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed. In Velykopysarivska, a private house, a car, 2 apartment buildings, 12 private homes, 5 garages, and 2 vehicles were damaged; in Esman, a private car was damaged; in Seredyno-Budska, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged. Local authorities, together with the State Emergency Service, National Police, and public organizations from border communities, evacuated one person during the day.
Air raid alerts in the region lasted 17 hours and 27 minutes over the 24-hour period.
Kherson region
Russian troops, using drones, artillery, and aircraft, struck 32 settlements in Kherson region over the past day, resulting in one death and three injuries, as reported by the Head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The settlements under attack included Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovsk, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Kizomys, Sofiivka, Dniprovske, Ponyativka, Mykilske, Ivanivka, Novotyahynka, Beryslav, Novoraisk, Mylove, Kachkarivka, Dudchany, Olhivka, Virivka, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Mykolaivka, Tokarivka, Mala Oleksandrivka, Pervomaiske, Bezvodne, Bilousove, Nova Shestirnya, Vesele, Kozatske, and Kherson.
The Russain forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas across the region. As a result of the attacks, seven multi-story buildings and seven private houses were damaged. Administrative buildings, a private garage, vehicles, and a gas pipeline were also damaged. The gas leak has been contained, and there is currently no risk of fire.
Chernihiv region
Russian forces attacked a critical infrastructure facility in the center of Chernihiv. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi.
Information regarding casualties is still being clarified.
Dnipropetrovsk region
Russian troops struck the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of Dnipropetrovsk region on the night of October 29, causing multiple damages and injuring one person, according to the Acting Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Vladyslav Haivanenko.
In the evening and at night, the Russian army targeted Synelnykove district – Vasylkivka and Mykolaivka communities – with drones. Infrastructure was damaged, Haivanenko noted. In the Nikopol district, the enemy struck Nikopol, Pokrovska – both city and rural areas – and the Marganets community. A 38-year-old man was injured.
A fire broke out. One vehicle was destroyed, and two others were damaged. Infrastructure, an administrative building, and a private house were also damaged.
Zaporizhzhia region
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers carried out 627 strikes on 18 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region. 2 men were injured as a result of a Russian attack in Zaporizhzhia district, as reported by the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Russian forces carried out nine airstrikes on Sokolivka, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Rivnopillia, Uspenivka, Bilohirya, Malynivka, and Novoupsenivske. 397 drones of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Three strikes from MLRS hit Novodanylivka, Shcherbaky, and Novomykolaivka. 218 artillery strikes were carried out across Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Preobrazhenka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivneю
Forty-five reports of damage to residential houses, outbuildings, and vehicles were received.
