Russian forces launched a new wave of attacks across multiple regions of Ukraine over the past day, killing at least seven civilians and injuring more than 40 others, according to regional authorities.
The heaviest toll was reported in Kharkiv region, where one person was killed and 15 others were injured after Russian strikes targeted the regional capital and 24 settlements. Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov said a 65-year-old woman was killed in the village of Ukrainske in the Vovchansk community, while a 66-year-old man was wounded.
In Kharkiv city, Russian forces struck the Kholodnohirskyi district with guided aerial bombs, injuring nine people, including four children. Other casualties were reported in Bohodukhiv, Prykolotne, Pisochyn and Cherkaska Lozova.
According to Syniehubov, Russian troops attacked the region using 11 guided bombs, six Geran-2 drones, eight Molniya drones, five FPV drones and five unmanned aerial vehicles whose type is still being identified. The strikes damaged residential buildings, vehicles, warehouses and energy infrastructure across several districts.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, an early morning Russian attack on the city of Pavlohrad killed an eight-year-old girl and injured a 49-year-old woman, who was hospitalized in moderate condition. Two private homes caught fire as a result of the strike, regional administration head Oleksandr Hanzha said.

In Donetsk region, Russian attacks killed two civilians on June 18, according to regional governor Vadym Filashkin. The victims were residents of Kramatorsk and Mykolaivka. Four additional people were wounded. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, at least 4,129 civilians have been killed and 9,667 injured in the government-controlled parts of the region, excluding casualties in occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Another civilian death was reported in Mykolaiv region, where Russian drones targeted energy infrastructure, transportation facilities and fuel stations. A 37-year-old man was killed in the village of Tuzly during one of the attacks. Russian forces also damaged a gas station in Snihurivka and vehicles in Ochakiv.
In Kherson region, one person was killed and nine others were injured as Russian troops continued drone and artillery attacks on dozens of settlements. Regional authorities reported damage to a multi-storey residential building, 17 private homes, agricultural equipment, vehicles, a warehouse and a gas pipeline.
Meanwhile, Zaporizhzhia region endured one of the most intense bombardments of the day. Regional governor Ivan Fedorov said Russian forces carried out 950 strikes against 53 settlements. The attacks included 27 airstrikes, 694 drone attacks, three multiple-launch rocket system strikes and 226 artillery attacks.

Four people were injured in attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and surrounding communities. Authorities received 60 reports of damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure facilities.
