Russian forces shell multiple Ukrainian regions, causing civilian casualties and damage

Russian forces have continued their aggressive attacks across several regions of Ukraine, resulting in civilian casualties and extensive damage to infrastructure, according to reports from regional military administration heads.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

On Tuesday, Russian troops shelled two districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported. In the evening, the Russian forces launched another attack on Synelnykove district, using GAB guided bombs on the Malomykhailivska community. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.

During the night and early morning, the Russian army also struck the Nikopol district, targeting the Marganets community with heavy artillery and FPV drones. Despite the shelling, Lysak confirmed that no civilians were injured. Ukrainian air defenders successfully shot down a Russian forces UAV over the region.

Kharkiv Region

The Russian Armed Forces shelled six settlements in Kharkiv region over the past day, resulting in casualties and injuries among civilians, reported Oleh Syniehubov, head of the regional military administration.

In the village of Vasyshcheve, men aged 59, 51, and 43, along with a 4-year-old girl, were injured. In Eskhar, an 85-year-old man was killed, and a 63-year-old man and women aged 71 and 63 were injured. Additionally, a 67-year-old man was injured in the city of Kupiansk.

Syniehubov noted that Russian forces employed GAB guided bombs, Geran-2 UAVs, and FPV drones during the attacks.

The shelling also caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure. In Kupiansk district, 68 private homes, seven apartment buildings, a school, and three shops were damaged. In Chuhuiv district, five apartment buildings, three private houses, three cars, an outbuilding, and a garage were affected. Workshops and warehouses in Kharkiv district were also damaged.

Kirovohrad Region

Russian forces drones attacked an industrial enterprise in Kirovohrad region, injuring three people, according to Andrii Raikovych, head of the Regional Military Administration. The attack occurred in Svitlovodsk, where a fire broke out but has since been contained.

In addition to the injuries, 76 private houses and one nine-story residential building were damaged. Raikovych stated that the region was under attack during the night and that all relevant emergency services are working at the scene. Of the three injured, two have been hospitalized. Over 1,400 residents remain without electricity as a result of the attack.

Kherson Region

Russian forces shelled multiple locations in Kherson region on Tuesday, injuring 13 people, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Regional Military Administration.

Prokudin reported that over the past day, Russian forces subjected numerous settlements—including Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozirka, Burhunka, Veletenske, Vesele, Dniprovskе, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Kizomys, Kostyrka, Komyshany, Lvove, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Monastyrske, Odradokamyanka, Olhivka, Osokorivka, Ponyativka, Prydniprovske, Rozlyv, Sadove, Sofiivka, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Tomaryne, Tyahynka, Chervonyi Maiak, Shliakhove, and the city of Kherson—to drone terror, artillery shelling, and air strikes.

The attacks damaged social infrastructure and residential areas, including two apartment buildings and ten private houses. Russian forces also destroyed a garage and a private vehicle.
