The Russian armed forces used kamikaze drones of the Shahed type and various types of missiles for the aerial attack on Ukraine tonight. Ukrainian air defense forces, in particular, shot down 37 attack drones.
This information was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Military command has not yet provided information about the enemy missiles shot down; such details are currently being clarified.
It is noted that regarding the kamikaze drones, the Russian forces used 40 Shahed drones for the attack tonight.
"During the night, Russian occupiers carried out another massive strike on Ukraine, using cruise missiles and UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. According to preliminary information, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 37 out of 40 UAVs. Information regarding missiles is being clarified," the General Staff stated.
